What a wonderful blog! I have raised 6 young women over the past 20+ years and have one adopted daughter who got her MSW from Smith. I can not tell you how impressed I have been with what Smith has done and will continue to do. I have nothing but praise and warm feelings for the place, the spirit and the sense of purpose Smith gives. Ms. Spurzem may just be an anomaly.

Do postings from this site go the the FB event page?

Not unless people post them there.

Hey Smithies! Although i may be a MoHo (gasp! rivalry!) i wanted to say that we at Mount Holyoke stand in solidarity with this blog's efforts to celebrate and rejoice in the diversity represented at one of the best schools in the country. Ms. Spurzem could have very easily written the same concerns about any of the Seven Sisters, and it is for this very reason i think this a time better than any for us to unite in the face of adversity. You rock!

As a prospie, this blog affirms every reason why I want to go to Smith. Seeing what kinds of bold, awesome, amazing, and inspiring people I would go to school with makes me so excited to apply next fall. Keep being awesome Smithies, and I hope to one day join you as a member of the Class of 2017!
